The violence continues in Iran as protests and crackdowns break out all over the country. The death of Neda, a young woman who was protesting peacefully, has sprung up all over the internet and has become a new rallying cry for the movement.
How this ends I do not know. Information from Iran is getting thin. Many sources have been arrested, presumably, or maybe even worse. Often my sources are getting me information LONG before it can be confirmed by major news agencies because there is so little information available.
NYTimes and Huffington post have the best info, so please follow them. Also, I encourage everyone (even if you account is new or you don’t have one) to log onto twitter and follow the events in Iran.
Nobody knows what will happen next, but we owe it to the poor people on the ground to do something.
I’ll keep you informed. Until then, happy hunting (or at least, happy Tweeting).
